SOJ Announcements for Week of October 18, 2026
Today we welcome Josiah Elias Reimnitz into God’s holy family! Josiah is the son of Joshua & Ruthy Reimnitz, grandson of Jess & Sonja Reimnitz, and great grandson of SOJ members Joel & Diane Eide.
Volunteers are needed to work SOJ’s booth at the Fall Festival next Saturday, Oct. 24th, at Verde Valley Fairgrounds. Come and share all the ways SOJ impacts our community! See the sign-up sheet in the narthex/lobby.
Join us for a grand celebration next Sunday, Reformation Sunday, as we celebrate the burning of our mortgage! The festivities will continue with an Oktoberfest potluck in the hall. If you haven’t signed up yet to bring a dish, please see the sign-up sheets in the fellowship hall. Be sure to wear RED!

Church Council meets on Wednesday at 2pm in the Conference Room.
The Men’s Breakfast Group will meet on Thursday at 8am at Red Rooster Café. All men are invited for fellowship, prayer and a discussion of Sunday’s gospel.
The Lutheran Christianity Class meets on Thursday at 10:30am in BS1.
The Daytime Book Group will meet on Thursday, 2pm in the CR to discuss Shelterwood by Lisa Wingate. All are invited to come and join in the discussion.
