 Wednesday’s Mid-Week Worship continues Dr. Koester’s DVD series.  This week we will continue with Mark’s Gospel as Mark describes the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.  How does Mark leave us with the story of Jesus, and how does his story fit into Israel’s pre-conceptions of a Messiah?  You might want to read the Gospel of Mark during the week (It is not very long) and get a feel for how Mark develops his interpretation of God’s work in history. 

 Pr. Braaten’s new Philippians Study with the Heritage Declaration tie-in begins this week. The class is being offered on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm and repeated on Friday morning at 10am. This is a 4-week class ending on June 26th. Sign up in the Narthex (lobby outside the Worship area) or call the church office. Contact Pastor Braaten with questions.
