Spirit of Joy was very fortunate to have members who could design and build these stained-glass windows.

These windows were designed by Elizabeth Saunders and built by Richard Sturm.

Dedicated to the Glory of God

The Stained Glass Windows were designed by the late Elizabeth “Liz” Saunders who was a charter member of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church.

The windows were constructed by Richard Sturm, a Stained-glass artist of Cottonwood.

The windows directly over the door to the courtyard was inspired by the view towards Mingus Mountain with light rays descending from Heaven

The window over the doors leading to the sanctuary was inspired by the view from the window behind the alter looking toward the Red Rocks of Sedona.
